# How to move a file/image from a local machine to Google Drive

If you require **to move a file or image from a local machine to Google Drive** , please follow the below instructions:

Illustrated below is an example of a flow where a file is moved from a local machine to Google Drive.

1. The Relay Based Filesystem source step is used to retrieve an image from a local machine.  
Select an existing connection or use the (+) icon to add a new connection. In the **Path** field, inputted is the location path of the image with the file type included as highlighted in the below image:

1. Add the Combine step after the Pass Through step in order to send the file to Google Drive destination step.

2. Add a Google Drive destination step. Select an existing connection or use the (+) icon to add a new connection as highlighted in the below image. The name of the file/image is added in the **Path** field. The File Type is dependent on what the file is.

To **reference the Folder ID** , please look at the Google Drive URL for the required ID as illustrated in the image below.
