# Increase timeout of flow

**The default timeout of any flow is 10 minutes**. However, when dealing with large data sets, you may want to increase this for longer processing time.

**NB:** Please note that if you are increasing the timeout, a **reasonable timeout has to be set**. If the timeout is more than 2000 minutes, the flow will throw an error.

To achieve this, merely navigate to:

1. The flow
2. Click on _Details_
3. Adjust timeout to preferred value
4. Save the flow.
