How to use the Relay Based File System source step

The Relay Based File System source step can read a file from a folder in your local machine.

In order to use this step, you must first add and configure the system in your Relay Manager and then create the relay.

To configure the system in your Relay Manager, you need to populate the highlighted fields as illustrated below.

Once this is done and you have tested the relay to see if it’s working, you can create a new flow and add a writer step before you add the Relay Based File System source step.

Then add the the Relay Based File System source step, choose the relay and populate the path of where the file is located in your local machine as shown below.

Test is the name of the folder where the file is stored in.
MOCK_DATA.xlsx is the name of the file.

The below image is how the beginning of your flow will look and you can add a destination step and/or other steps to manipulate the data.
