If you require to convert a Word document to a PDF file and send it as an email, please follow the below instructions:
Illustrated in the image below is an example of a flow where a Word document from a local machine is converted to PDF file and sent as an email.
- The Relay Based Filesystem source step is used to retrieve a Word document from a local machine. Select an existing relay. In the Path field, the location path of the Word document is inputted with the file extension as shown in the below image.

Add the Combine step after the Pass Through step.

Add the Run File step to download a copy of the PDF file if you require to view the file. Select Record in the Input Type and PDF as the File Type as illustrated in the below image.
- Add the Email destination step to send the converted PDF file to an email address. In the Attachments section, please ensure that the Use Attachments checkbox is ticked and type an attachment name without the file extension as shown in the below page.
