Synatic is rolling out a new feature that will allow you to access all your organizations using one set of credentials. Currently, switching between organizations means logging in to each one separately. With this change, you only need to log in to one, and you will be allowed to switch to any organization that you are a member of using the same session. Being a member of an organization means your email address is registered as a user in that organization.
This feature is available on designer.synatic.com but not on admin.synatic.com. This means on admin.synatic.com, you will still have to log in to each organization separately. This change does not affect the processing of runs; these continue as normal.
How will I be affected by this change?
This change will affect all users on the Synatic platform. Once the change goes live, your old credentials will no longer work, and you will need to:
- Reset your password using the reset password feature on the login screen. You will need to enter one of your organizations to log in as before, and then choose “forgot password” on the following screen. Because one set of credentials is now used to access all organizations, resetting your password for one does it for all. Going forward, there is only one set of credentials to remember.
- Type in any Organization that you are a member of.
*** Choose forgot password on this screen.**
- All accounts will need to enroll for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). After logging in for the first time, you will be asked to set this up. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete this.
How does this affect Single Sign-On (SSO)
Single sign-on will continue to work as before. There are no additional steps to take besides the Synatic password reset and MFA setup mentioned above. Because one set of credentials gives you access to all your organizations, logging in to one organization using SSO means you will be able to switch to another organization using the same session.
How do I Switch Organizations Once Logged In
If you are a member of more than one organization, the organization label will turn into a dropdown list of all the organizations you are a part of. To switch to a different organization, click on its name, and it will be opened in a new tab. Your current tab stays intact, and you can interact with both organizations at the same time.
When Will this Change Go Live?
The migration will happen on 20 September 2025 between 02:00 AM EST and 7AM EST. During and after the migration, your old credentials will be rejected, and you will need to reset your password and set up MFA to access the Synatic platform. Your runs will continue to run as normal and remain unaffected.
